Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Roundlet ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Roundlet is developed and maintained by an independent developer, not a corporation. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout these terms refer to the developer of Roundlet.

Description of Service

Roundlet is a visual crochet pattern creation app for iOS and iPadOS. It lets you design, edit, and manage crochet patterns on your device. The App stores your data locally using SwiftData and optionally syncs it across your Apple devices via iCloud (available to premium subscribers).

The App offers two tiers:

• Free tier: Create and manage up to 2 projects with core pattern-building features, system stitches, and PDF export.
• Premium subscription: Unlimited projects, custom stitches, custom stitch sequences, custom modifiers, Creative Export (copy text & images for design apps), and iCloud sync across devices.

Subscriptions & Payments

Premium features are available through a subscription offered as monthly or annual plans, purchased via Apple In-App Purchases. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Managing your subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions).
• Price changes: If subscription pricing changes, you will be notified in advance and given the option to cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple according to their refund policy (opens in new tab).

If your subscription expires or is cancelled, you will retain access to your existing projects but premium features (such as iCloud sync, custom stitches, custom stitch sequences, custom modifiers, and Creative Export) will become unavailable until you resubscribe.

User Content & Intellectual Property

Your content belongs to you. Any crochet patterns, notes, projects, or other content you create within the App remains your intellectual property. We do not claim any ownership over your content.

You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of others.

The App itself — including its design, code, icons, and branding — is the intellectual property of the developer and is protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

Privacy & Data

Your privacy matters to us. The App does not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not collect personal information beyond what Apple provides through StoreKit for purchase processing.

Your data is stored locally on your device. Premium subscribers who enable iCloud sync will have their data stored in their personal iCloud account — we do not have access to it.

Limitation of Liability

Roundlet is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. While we strive to keep the App reliable and bug-free, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

We strongly recommend using the App's backup/restore feature to safeguard your work.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. If you have an active subscription, be sure to cancel it through your Apple ID account settings to avoid future charges.

We reserve the right to discontinue the App or any of its features at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you (for example, through an in-app notice).

Your continued use of the App after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
